They are all taped in. Security guard is walking the halls. Wake up call is 5:30. Night all!
Great boat trip! The boat was rockin' and rolling! Quote of the night from one very enthusiastic student, "Mr. Schrader, I want to be held back next year so I can come on this trip again!" These are the moments we live for. :) on the way to hotel... All students present and accounted for.
After visiting Jefferson, Roosevelt and Martin Luther King, Jr Memorials, we are on our way to pizza on the waterfront.
arrived at the Air/Space museum....lots of energy abounds

Off to the Air and Space Museum

Everyone had a great lunch and we are now off to the Air and Space Museum. After eating something "healthy" the dessert bar was a big hit. So many choices...  Milk chocolate, white chocolate, or caramel fondue??? Strawberries, rice crispy treats, marshmallows, or cake... What should they try???? So many decisions and after a little of this and a lot of that (don't forget the ice cream) we are off to our next stop.
Kids certainly seem to be enjoying Golden Coral. They all started with salad. :)

We're here....

Made it!
About 15 minutes away from Largo Maryland....Golden Corral....will not be the same
Maryland welcomes us! Why thank you! :)

This blog was created to allow parents/guardians of our 8th graders to follow us as we navigate our way through Washington DC. This will be strictly a one-way blog, that is, no commenting will be allowed. We hope that your child will thoroughly enjoy their time with their classmates during this wonderful opportunity.
